League Rules

For season 1 the rules will be as follows:
1.  Games are one test long, playoff will be 3 tests (or first to two goals)
2. Cards will be used (either 2 minute warning or a deck with 52 cards + 2 jokers, face cards =1momentum, and jokers =3 momentum)
3. Full face off rules, and conditional successes
4. All teams will make it to playoff if they have at least 5 games logged in league, with at least 3 different opponents.
5. Each team may play up to 20 games in a season, but no more.
6.  May play the same opponent for up to 3 consequetive games, but must play another before playing the same player again.
7.  We will have meetups 2 times a month at AREA 51 in Grapevine, TBA.
8.  Gnomes allowed an impcrusher in lieu of a contraption if desired.
9.  Teams have a value cap of 150pts. (cap raises to 180 for playoffs)
10.  Accelerated skill points- expereince points as follows:
           1pt for each player on pitch when a goal is scored, both teams
           +1pt if player is on the scoring team (2 total points for this player)
           +1pt if player actually scored the goal (3 total points for this player)
           or 1 pt for every player on the pitch at the end of a tie.
11.  Advanced tiebreaking rules:  If the cards run out and a player is in possession of the ball on the opponents half of the pitch, play continues without cards until either the ball is dropped or the ref notices time is out.  At the end of each turn that the team with possession of the ball, roll a die, if the result is a X (flop) the ref notices and the game ends in a tie, otherwise keep playing until the ball is knocked loose or the ref roll is failed.
